OSU-Stillwater Community Transit OSU-Stillwater Community Transit provides transit service from 6:20 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, throughout the academic year. Two routes are available on campus during the day, and one route is used during the evening and summer sessions. Off campus, there are five routes during the day and one in the evening. These routes provide service to downtown, dining, and entertainment establishments. The stops may vary depending upon demand.
All Off Campus Routes converge at the Multi-Modal Transfer Terminal where passengers may transfer from one route to another.
Beginning August 6, 2012: All fixed route transit service is fare free to OSU students, faculty and staff with a valid OSU ID Card. Fares for the public are $.75 per trip for general passengers. Elderly (over 59), youth (5-18 years of age), disabled (with approved ADA certification) or a Medicare Card holder pay only $.35 per trip and OSU Paratransit customers ride fare free with valid ADA Paratransit Authorization Pass . Persons under the age of 5 can ride THE BUS for free when accompanied by a paid passenger. Transfers to other routes are free with paid fare.
Construction Detours
Monroe Street Detour
Beginning 5/8/12 OSU Transit will begin the Monroe Street Detour for Purple and Gold Routes. (See attached Map) South Bound traffic will not be affected, however there more than likely will be intermittent disruptions due to cutting of the pavement and other equipment.
GOLD ROUTE: North Bound traffic will continue West to Stout Lane and go North, West on Wentz then North on Cleveland to Farm Road. East of Farm Road to Monroe then North to the MMTT.
PURPLE ROUTE: North Bound traffic will continue West to Stout Lane and go North, West on Wentz then North on Cleveland to Hall of Fame Ave, East to the MMTT.
Scarlet Route Detour
Scarlet Route Detour (August 22, 2011 for approximately 6 months). Due to the reconstruction of Jardot Road the SCARLET ROUTE will detour North to Payne Street, West on Virginia and South on Stallard to 6th Street. Passengers should expect the SCARLET ROUTE to arrive along Payne Street during the same timeframe it arrived on Jardot. Temporary bus stop signs will be placed along the detour route.
